QUALITY MILESTONE FOR UWSCollege

New headquarters at Nirimba

THE University of Western Sydney College has achieved a new milestone after its administration centre opened at the Nirimba Education Precinct in Quakers Hill.

"This new headquarters at Nirimba will significantly increase UWSCollege’s capacity, efficiency, quality and reach across one of the nation’s fastest growing regions and further afield,” said vice-chancellor, Professor Barney Glover.

The campus is home to one of Australia’s largest pathway programs, which helps students make the transition to university study.

Currently over 1800 students are based at UWSCollege Nirimba, studying a range of different programs ranging from business to engineering to arts.

Students who successfully complete their diploma program through UWSCollege are guaranteed entry into the second year of a UWS undergraduate degree.

More than 5000 students have gone on to university from the college since 2008 while nearly 2000 students are enrolled at UWSCollege.
