LEADERSHIP TEAM CONFRMED
CENTRAL Coast Council has announced it leadership team which is designed to take the amalgamated councils into a new era of growth.
Council Chief Executive Officer Rob Noble said the exhaustive search to find top candidates Australia wide had paid off,
“The calibre of candidates we attracted highlights the strong interest in working for our new local government area that is now a major region in its own right,” Mr Noble said.
The appointments are:
- Group Leader Assets, Infrastructure and Business – Mike Dowling.
- Group Leader Environment and Planning – Scott Cox.
- Chief Financial Officer – Stephen Naven.
- Executive Manager People and Culture – Kellie Reeves.
- Executive Manager Governance – Brian Glendenning.
They join Group Leader Connected Communities, Julie Vaughan and Chief Information Officer, David Kennedy who were appointed to their positions last year with Executive Manager Transformation and Business Performance, Sally Ingram, rounding out the ltadership Team.

COUNCIL CONFIRMS STADIUM FUNDING
CENTRAL Coast Council has reconfirmed funding is allocated in next financial year’s budget for amenity upgrades to Central Coast Stadium. Council committed some time ago to upgrade facilities to support attracting women’s sport to the stadium. Funding for the additions are in the Draft 2017-18 Operational Plan currently on public exhibition.
