UNBRIDLED scenes of joy erupted along the Central Coast on Saturday night after the mighty Mariners came from the jaws of Grand Final defeat to win back-to-back A-League Championships and secure a historic treble never before seen in Australian football.

SUPPORT FOR TERRIGAL WAMBERAL SHARKS
TERRIGAL Wamberal Rugby League and Youth Club has received $5,000 from the Federal Labor Government’s 2023-24 Volunteer Grants.
The club plans to use the funds to purchase critical equipment to support its volunteers undertake activities including in the canteen and on the field.
Federal Member for Robertson, Dr Gordon Reid MP said: “I wish to congratulate Terrigal Wamberal Sharks on receiving this volunteer grant which will go towards supporting the club’s volunteers and players.
“Our sporting organisations are phenomenal and bring our community members together. I wish the Terrigal Wamberal Sharks all the best in this year’s season and look forward to continuing to assist the club.
A spokesperson for Terrigal Wamberal Sharks, Mr Matthew Edghill saidL: “This volunteer grant will be used to purchase equipment that will support our volunteers and ultimately, our players and club community.
“The funding will also be used to undertake accreditation training for volunteers which is a great help for the club too.
“We are a club of 600-700 members, so this funding will go a long way to support our wider community."
