MORE car parking is on the way for commuters in Woy Woy, with the site located adjacent to the existing car park on Railway Street directly south west of the station confirmed for the upgrade.

NEW PICNIC AREA OUT OF THE FIRES

OUT of the fires of summer 2019 will rise a new Mangrove Creek Dam picnic area, lookout and surrounds, reating an exciting new Visitor Space at the significant site.
 
Featuring a new amenities building, an improved picnic area and educational elements, the new Visitor Space will replace the original facilities destroyed in the 2019 Three Mile Fire.
 
Central Coast Council has received $2.567M from the NSW Government’s Bushfire Local Economic Recovery (BLER) Fund to complete this important project.
CENTRAL Coast Industry Connect has received a boost of $50,000 through the NSW Government’s State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA) Recovery Boost grants.
 
Parliamentary Secretary for the Central Coast and Member for Terrigal Adam Crouch said Central Coast Industry Connects project, Better for Business, would use the funding to help people recover at work while at the same time reduce the stigma around mental health.
 
Better for Business Central Coast is an industry led initiative that seeks to understand mental health in small and medium sized business. The project will be delivered in partnership with the Local Health District (Mental Health Service), Central Coast Suicide Prevention Alliance and University of Newcastle.
 
The NSW Government has granted more than $350,000 to eight organisations undertaking initiatives to boost mental health in the workplace.
