SUN CONFIRMS COAST AWARDS SPONSORSHIP

Media support for local business program
HOLLYWOOD has the Oscars, and the music industry has the Grammys – but for many Coast small businesses it is the long-standing Local Business Awards that represent the pinnacle of recognition.
 
Now in their 41st year the Local Business Awards are held across 36 regions and attract hundreds of thousands of nominations each year. Details of the 2025 program have just been announced.
 
Media partnerships play a key role in assisting promote the Local Business Awards programs and showcasing winners and finalists. 
 
Local publishing company, Community Broadcast Network (CBN) - publishers of the Central Coast Sun - has been a long-standing media partner for the Central Coast ocal Business Awards program and has just confirmed a new long-term deal to be the official media partner for 11 local business awards programs including:
  • Central Coast
  • Inner West.
  • Blacktown City. 
  • Sydney Hills.
  • Parramatta. 
  • Camden. 
  • Campbelltown. 
  • Liverpool.
  • Fairfield.
  • Bankstown.
  • Cumberland.
CBN group publisher Michael Walls said CBN was honored to be working with Precedent Productions, founders of the Local Business Awards for the foreseeable future and play a major role in showcasing the valuable program.
 
He said CBN’s established local media brands presence in key markets meant CBN could deliver high-value features and ongoing media coverage to local communities where the awards influence people most.
 
CBN local media brands include the Central Coast Sun, Western Sydney Express, Blacktown News, Parramatta Times, and Macarthur Advocate.
 
“We’ve worked with the team at Precedent for many years we take our role of media partner as one of responsibility for showcasing the Local Business Awards program, its finalists and winners; and adding value to the many businesses that enter these excellent awards,” said Mr Walls.
