She’s not just got a melodious voice singing both Hindi and English songs but is pitching her acting skills as she knocks on the doors of Bollywood.
The 21-year-old might be living a far cry from Bollywood but she’s surely heading in the right direction & rising to stardom.
She has signed a contract to write and sing the title track of a big-budget Bollywood film, featuring Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty.
Priyanka Bhanushali, who performs under the name Priyanka Pripri, has set herself a task perhaps even bigger than breaking into Bollywood. She dreams of bringing Bollywood to Australia.
"I don't think Australia has any real Bollywood stars. The industry is emerging. It's quite popular these days, but it's definitely not at its peak and we need to get there," Priyanka said.
"I love everything about Bollywood and Hollywood - the glamourisation of things, that everything is really beautiful. There's a lot of hard work behind the scenes, but nobody sees it."
Priyanka made her sales pitch for Bollywood when she performed in Sydney's "Little India" Harris Park as part of Parramasala.
Parramasala is an arts and cultural festival is held each year in Parramatta. The program is a colourful showcase of traditional and modern arts from the subcontinent.
Priyanka has been signed as a lead actress for three major Bollywood feature films to act alongside renowned mega stars, and supporting with vocals and music compositions for the first film going on floor in June 2015.
Priyanka has signed to launch 12 of Pri’s singles on Zee Music Company (Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. (ZEEL) is the second-largest Indian media and entertainment company based in India.

Priyanka is currently working on a track, with Producers from Warner Bros. She has also been offered to work with ministry of sound. Priyanka was officially invited to participate on X-factor.
She was granted a prestigious opportunity to compose, Sing & Pen a montage song for the movie The Desire: A Journey of a Woman alongside renowned music directors like Shankar Ehsaan Loy (an Indian musical trio consisting of Shankar Mahadevan, Ehsaan Noorani and Loy Mendonsa) for a big budget Bollywood movie with Indian & Chinese mega stars featuring Shilpa Shetty and Xia Yu the first crossover movie to come to the movies soon.
Priyanka has been talked about in local magazines, newspapers, community TV Channels (web) and has been invited to co-host radio programs in Australia & India.
