PwC PLANS SIGNIFICANT EXPANSION

Hills office to double staff numbers

ONE of Australia’s “big four” professional services firms, PwC, plans a significant expansion of its office in Western Sydney.

PwC will double staff from 25 to 50 people at its two-year-old Greater Western Sydney office, in Baulkham Hills, to capitalise on the growth of the region.

PwC Australia chief executive, Luke Sayers said the company was intent on growing its presence in the region.

“With significant infrastructure spend in Parramatta about to come online, we want to ensure we are well placed to meet client demand in [Western Sydney’s] emerging economic powerhouses,” he said.

Macquarie Park, an emerging economic hub, makes the list of the 10 locations which accounts for one-fifth of Australia’s economic output, according to PwC research.
