THE new Anthony Albanese Federal Government has declared the Central Coast as a ‘GP priority area’.
State Member for Wyong David Harris said the announcement meant that ‘it will be easier to recruit GPs to work locally’.
It is welcome news for the Coast’s Federal MP’s Emma McBride and Dr. Gordon Reid
“We have been lobbying for this for a long time as it gets harder to access GP Services and places terrible strains on our hospital emergency departments,” Mr Harris said.

This was an election commitment from Labor and it's important that it's been delivered so quickly.”
