Grants now open for culture projects
ARTS and culture organisations on the Central Coast are being urged to apply for a grant under a

new $47M round of funding as part of the NSW Liberal National Government’s Regional Cultural Fund (RCF).

Parliamentary secretary for the Central Coast Scot MacDonald said the fund had the potential to totally transform the arts and culture scene on the Coast.

“This $47M funding pool comes on top of the $48M which was already allocated to 68 projects as part of round one of the fund,” Mr MacDonald said.

Terrigal state Liberal MP Adam Crouch said the first round of funding had seen NAISDA Dance College receive $117,164 to develop its Kariong campus into a learning hub and Indigenous gathering place.

Deputy Premier and Minister for Regional NSW John Barilaro said the second round of funding was available for infrastructure and redevelopment projects ranging from major new exhibition and performing arts spaces, through to refurbishment of libraries, theatres and museums and smaller, grass-roots community projects.

Applications close on September 21, 2018.

Applicants can review guidelines for applying for funding at the Create NSW web pagehttps://www.create.nsw.gov.au/funding-and-support/regional-cultural-fund/regional-cultural-fund-2/
