CENTRAL Coast Mayor Jane Smith has thrown down the gauntlet to the major parties just before the March 23 election to commit to more funding for Central Coast roads, facilities and services.
Cr Smith took a front row seat at the Local Government NSW Election Debate on March 8 at Parliament House in Sydney to press the issue of road funding on behalf of Central Coast the region’s residents.
“The State Government population projections for the Coast are huge. It’s time for all sides of politics to commit to our community on this issue and increase funding for roads,” Cr Smith said.
